At NLCA, our motto “Our responsibility is education.
Our priority is ministry.” guides every aspect of our academic program. While our commitment to ministry is central to who we are, we hold academic excellence as a non negotiable priority. As a K–12 school, our courses are intentionally designed to prepare students for success at every stage of development, culminating in readiness for college and a challenging, ever-changing world.
NLCA offers a well-rounded K–12 academic program with strong instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, and other core disciplines. These subjects are taught with a commitment to rigor, critical thinking, and mastery of essential skills appropriate to each grade level. The Bible serves as the foundation of all learning, shaping not only what we teach, but how we teach. Every course—along with alternative offerings, co-curricular and extracurricular programs, and Bible instruction—is thoughtfully aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and spiritual formation goals, ensuring that a Biblical worldview is consistently integrated throughout the student experience.
Currently, NLCA uses the Abeka curriculum for all skill-based subjects. A curriculum team is actively reviewing and exploring alternative options for select upper-level courses to ensure continued academic growth, relevance, and preparation for postsecondary expectations.
Our academic outcomes speak for themselves. NLCA graduates have been consistently accepted into colleges and universities, with alumni currently enrolled at institutions across Arkansas as well as Bible colleges out of state. We are confident that our students leave NLCA academically prepared, spiritually grounded, and equipped to pursue God’s calling in the next stage of their lives.
NLCA is currently in candidacy status for accreditation with the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA), with the goal of achieving accreditation in Spring 2026. This process reflects our commitment to accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence in Christian education.
